After a year of planing, detouring via Darwin, Auckland, Denver, and New York, five airports in four days, and 36 hours of transit we have finally made it to Sri Lanka. Five days in and I have sweated so much I could bottle it and sell it to drought stricken farmers. Our first five days have mainly been getting our bearings right, catching up with old friends, and trying to find an apartment to live in. Our current luxurious digs have afforded us views like this every day which helps make the search for an apartment that little bit easier.
